It was great to be back in New Orleans an exciting city that stands for rebuilding from the ground floor. What better place to take a look at all things Mobile: where we are now and where we are going. The conference had more than 40,000 attendees and every square foot of the exhibition floor was full. The attendees were wide ranging and from large corporations and consumer brands to small, boutique size investment banking businesses and wealth management firms. I felt that it was really amazing to see everyone so involved in how to utilize best practices in SMS and to look at the latest platforms. With so many financial companies of course there was a lot of discussion focusing on mobile payments. But there was a lot of thinking about how mobile is making history. One of my favorite sessions was with Joe Kennedy CEO & President Pandora. He talked about the paradigm shift where mobile is moving forward the same way his company shifted from traditional channels in radio and music that had been glutted. Pandora saw an opportunity to break through the clutter and seized the day. This same way of thinking can be applied to all of us in mobile and how we can spot new market opportunities and potential for growth. What unmet need can your business serve? You might want to check out some of our mobile products and services to see if there are ways we can work togetherYour next business opportunity might be from mobile and how well you integrate it with your current offerings. If you haven’t tried mobile, here is your chance to explore what it can do. –KK
