Timing and the cancelled meeting

Do you ever wonder why when a routine meeting is cancelled you suddenly find yourself slightly relieved that you now have this newly found time to get some extra work done? We are all so busy these days.  There are no quiet times in the work day when we can stop, take a pause and think.  I have found that while timing plays a critical role in everything we do, timing has a much more important aspect if you are trying to find a meaningful balance.  Most of the time when I need to schedule an important group meeting, I find that text messaging is the fastest way to communicate.  Texting is also the easiest way to cancel and reschedule a meeting.  It’s always a matter of timing. ––Kalin J.
