Building your B2B mobile Community

Where do you start in B2B mobile marketing?  One of the most pressing issues in B2B mobile marketing is how to find your audience.  Do you find your B2B audience online? If so, where do you go? Find out where your targets are online through social media, especially the royal three—Facebook, Linked-In and Twitter. It may mean going through your Linked-In, SalesForce.com or to your own proprietary list to see where you are contacts are located.  Mobile Marketing adoption relies on champions within the company to make it work.  Find those champions in your social network. Once you gather your contacts, then you need to be think about the messaging you will send.  How will you get them to opt-in and become part of your mobile community?  You aren’t going to “sell” to them the same way you sell to consumers. Think about what you can offer to them.  The value you provide may be all about providing news and information that is compelling, timely and relevant.
