American diplomat John Negroponte spoke about the sheer speed of information transfer today vs. the way it was during the past 20 years. He recalled having to go to a post office in Vietnam to make a reservation so he could later make a long-distance call. It’s obvious how times have changed and how our ability to communicate rapidly has changed not only the way we do business but it has forever changed the world. After all, timing is everything!
I enjoyed meeting Pedro Ortiz from the World Bank. I think ProTexting can get more involved in these think tanks and become an integral player in facilitating the speed of accurate communication. I’m planning a major initiative when I get back to NYC! –KK
